This is an urgent appeal to assist the people of Morocco who were hit by a catastrophic 6.8 magnitude earthquake on Friday, the 8th of September, 2023.
More than 300,000 people have been severely affected in Marrakech and surrounding areas, with a death toll of 2,122 and several more injured.
Lives have been disrupted, homes reduced to rubble, families displaced, businesses destroyed, and communities shattered.
As fellow global citizens, we have a moral duty to extend our hand and provide relief to those in need.
The scale of the devastation is immense, and the road to recovery will be long. However, through collective efforts, empathy, and generosity, we can bring hope to the victims of this tragedy.
